the preamble

I am going to try blogging. I think the reason for this experiment is twofold: first I find that I have a lot going on in my head on any given day at any given moment, most of it related to my job as an 8th grade social studies/ELA teacher; second I have really enjoyed the inspiration I have recieved from some outstanding blogs from other teachers. Does the world really need my voice in cyberspace? No.
